Not to be mistaken for the Caribbean conch. This Northeastern species are commonly used in Italian dishes as scungili. Our day boats trap them in pots and harvested daily. Sweet and fragrant when boiled soft. A very nice complimentary item for pasta dishes and salads. This little known shellfish may be the next big seafood in culinary trend.
